Vineyards

As with most boutique style wineries, John Christopher Cellars purchases their grapes through long term contracts with growers of superb quality grapes. Tom hand selects each vineyard based on past performance and varietals we are currently producing.  With close relationships with each of our vineyard growers, we specify vineyard management terms in conjunction with the vineyard owners in order to produce our award winning wines. This partnership with vineyard owners has proven successful for both our growers and our winery. Wines are produced from grapes grown in Livermore, Lodi, Dry Creek Valley, Galt and Tracy.  We also value the great flexibilitiy and versatility these growers offer us. Its a great partnership!
