2007 Petite Sirah- Livermore Valley
From a small 2 acre vineyard in eastern Livermore comes this incredible new release of JCC Petite Sirah. Following previous vintage releases, this wine exhibits deep, inky, teeth staining black/purple color and huge fruit - it is anything but "petite". It starts at the nose with aromas of berry and continues on the palate with ripe, berry flavors, mellow spiciness and tame tannins. It finishes with a touch of toasted oak. Very intense! Enjoy this Petite Sirah with a great Filet Mignon, Rib Eye, Roasted Lamb Chops or your favorite hearty entree!
